901 Arts relies on volunteers to execute its goals and artistic projects. Our volunteers are enriched by their experiences and develop strong leadership skills as well as great relationships with youth and peers alike.
Types of Volunteers__________________________________________________________
Administrative Assistants Volunteers who can make a long term (at least 2 month) commitment to organizing various events and classes. The volunteer will be tasked with logistical assignments that will ultimately keep 901 Arts running smoothly.
After-school Choice Time Assistant Volunteers help youth with homework, craft or science activities, teaching/playing games, serving snack, and provide youth with mentorship and act as role models. The commitment is one day a week any day Mon-Thurs from 3:00-4:30pm for the duration of a semester (late Sept-mid Dec or late Jan-end of May).
Music/Singing/Art Teachers Volunteers who can make a long term (at least 2 month) commitment to teaching Waverly youth in one-on-one or groups sessions on a weekly basis. Volunteers will develop their teaching skills and are given a great opportunity to impart their artistic talent.
Single Event Volunteers Volunteers who visit 901 Arts for a specific span of time under a certain event. These volunteers will be tasked with completing specific assignments within their allotted time at the arts center.

All volunteers must complete a background check and attend a training/orientation session.
